Vision & Mission 

The Bastar Care Foundation  made women and girls aware about biodiversity conservation, environmental protection and proper use of water resources, self-employment by forest produce, agriculture-based training and schemes of the government.

The Bastar Care Foundation is a nonprofit  non-religious social and development organization passionate to provide transformational development services for the complete wellbeing of humanity without social economic cultural, political, caste or class of exclusion. To improve the well-being and social position of the vulnerable people we work with through community  empowerment.

To work on right based approach by strengthening community institution on legal rights. To strengthen health & nutrition services for marginal communities and promote access of people to get their entitlements. Providing livelihoods support through agro forestry, agriculture and livestock development.

Facilitate access to quality education opportunities through formal and alternative education facilities. People of either sex, irrespective of their gender, caste, creed, religion and geographical location, gain equitable access to services and representation in the decision-making process. Provide an enabling environment for equitable growth and development of the community members we get associated with. Empower individual families and community through enhancing skill and capacity to earn and manage resources for their total wellbeing.

 

 

Award

The President of Bastar Care foundation
Smt. Karamjeet Kaur was awarded the National Women excellence Award 2017 for women empowerment.

 

The organization made women and girls aware about hygiene during menstruation. They were advised to use sanitary pads and clean cloths during menstruation, along with free sanitary napkins were provided. And, school dropout girls were motivated to go to school.

 

The Baster Care Foundation made women and girls aware about biodiversity conservation, environmental protection and proper use of water resources.

The Bastar Care Foundation Jagdalpur informed the farmers about the schemes of the Horticulture Department. Farmers were motivated to promote horticulture crops. They we retrained about the diseases caused by the crops and their prevention.

The Bastar Care Foundation provided detailed information about the law including domestic violence ,sexual harassment to the girls. Awareness programs were organized to prevent women and girls from migrating for employment in the rural areas of Bastar. They were inspired stop child marriage, oppose the to nhi practice and stay away from superstition.
